Dr. Cory Fortson, DDS embarked on his educational journey by attaining a BS in Nutritional Science from Michigan State University. A 2014 graduate of The University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, Dr. Fortson takes pride in continuing his family legacy as a third-generation dentist, delivering exceptional dental care to the Lathrup Village community.
Driven by a commitment to excellence and ongoing advancement, Dr. Fortson has pursued extensive continuing education, focusing on orthodontics (including braces and Invisalign), endodontics (root canal therapy), and cosmetic dentistry. He has also completed advanced Implant Training for All on 4 dental implants, training under the guidance of Prosthodontist-Surgeon, Dr. Albert Wesley.
Dr. Fortson prioritizes creating a welcoming environment for his patients while rejuvenating their smiles. His aim is to alleviate the anxiety often associated with dental visits by addressing all dental needs with the latest painless treatment options, ensuring a beautiful smile.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Fortson enjoys cherished moments with his wife and two sons, as well as pursuing outdoor activities like snowboarding, golfing, and mountain biking. Deeply committed to community service, he actively participates in various professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society, and the Global Dental Implant Academy.
Dr. Charlotte Kroll holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Albion College, which she earned in 2009, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2014. Dr. Kroll's fascination with dentistry sparked from an early age, propelling her towards a passionate commitment to serving the greater Highland/Milford community and enhancing individuals' smiles. She takes pride in cultivating strong patient relationships and delivering exceptional care.
Before joining the Fortson Dentistry team, Dr. Kroll dedicated six years to a private practice in Rochester Hills, followed by a year at the current Highland location (West Oakland Advanced Dental Artistry). She maintains active memberships in esteemed professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Oakland County Dental Society.
In her leisure time, Dr. Kroll indulges in reading, traveling alongside her husband and two pups, cherishing visits with her nephews, and unwinding on Old Mission Peninsula.
